Provide Background Details and Rationale:
The Park Hill School District provides a full day comprehensive summer program grades K-8 utilizing the district’s current curriculum resources. Park Hill's part-time high school summer program will continue to offer students the ability to earn high school credit during the summer. Transportation is provided grades K-12. Breakfast and lunch will be available at all school sites at the regular school year prices.

This is a proposal for 2019 summer school dates, locations and times.

Safeguards are in place fiscally to fund the Park Hill Summer School program. This program will be 100% state funded and brings no net costs to the Park Hill School District.
Provide Funding Source and Estimated Cost:
$1.9 million based on PreK-12 estimated summer school enrollment of 4300; all expenditures are reimbursed through the state foundation formula.  
For informational purposes only. The Board of Education will be asked to approve the 2019 Summer School Information/Dates and Locations at a future meeting.
