Provide Background Details and Rationale: This purchase, if approved, will supply a 64 foot boom lift that will be used by maintenance and technology. The lift will enable the district to perform tasks that would normally require the rental of the unit. History has shown that the availability of the lift to rent is scarce. The lift, for example, will be used to replace HVAC equipment on a roof or perform maintenance on exterior cameras and parking lot lights.
Provide Funding Source and Estimated Cost: Funding will be provided from the proposed 2021-2022 Maintenance and Operations budget. The total cost is $99,500.
