Provide Background Details and Rationale: According to the federal McKinney-Vento Legislation, every Local Education Agency must designate an appropriate staff person as their Homeless Liaison. This is currently the Coordinator of Education Programs. With the addition of the Director of Access, Inclusion, and Family Engagement position, the district would like to designate that person as the Homeless Liaison.
