As our secondary English Language Arts classrooms have moved to allow more choice reading materials for students to support the workshop model, the amount of options available has increased. The materials on the list were reviewed using criteria in Board Policy IIBC. Highlighted titles are new additions to the list. Any novel denoted with an asterisk (*) is one that is used in whole-class instruction. All other novels are offered as choices to students as aligned to district curriculum. These materials will be on review until July 28, 2022. Notice of the review will be communicated via "First Hand" email, and posted on the district website informing patrons of the proposed adoption.
