The Board of Education approved Martin Bros to be the Park Hill Nutrition Services Prime Vendor of groceries and related supplies for the 2023-2024 school year on May 25, 2023. The approved contract terms were effective for one full year with the option to renew or extend the contract for up to four (4) one-year extensions, not to exceed beyond June 30, 2028.
Martin Bros continues to meet or exceeded expectations for delivery of foods procured and customer service provided. Nutrition Services recommends Martin Bros continue as the Prime Vendor for the 2025-2026 school year based on performance to bid pricing and anticipated pricing for next school year, as well as exceptional service provided.
This recommendation represents the second possible renewal/extension as included in the original Agreement with Martin Bros. This contract can be rebid at Park Hill’s request if the distributor does not maintain expected pricing, quality and service.
