The purpose of our math curriculum review was to ensure that the curriculum is closely aligned with the Missouri Learning Standards, thereby supporting high-quality, standards-based instruction across all grade levels. A collaborative team made up of classroom teachers, instructional coaches, and the Director of Elementary Education worked together to conduct a thorough review of existing curriculum documents and instructional materials. This process involved evaluating the current alignment to state standards, identifying gaps or redundancies, and selecting resources that best support student learning and engagement.
