|
On April 8, 2025, voters approved Proposition O, authorizing the Park Hill School District to utilize $128 million in bonds to improve facilities across the district. These funds will support the initial phase of our 10-year facilities plan, Park Hill 2034.
The district issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to architecture firms nationwide and received five (5) proposals, representing a mix of regional firms. A review team evaluated these submissions and shortlisted three firms: Navigate Building Solutions, LLC, Newkirk Novak Construction partners, Inc. and Universal Construction Company, Inc. . A 10-member interview team then conducted interviews with each of the four firms, focusing on their qualifications, experience with similar projects and clients, workload capacity, alignment with district goals and values, and overall interest in the project.
Based on this process, the district recommends Newkirk Novak as the Construction Management partner for Bundles 1, 2, and 3 of Park Hill 2034. We recommend that the Board authorize the Superintendent to enter into contract negotiations with Newkirk Novak.
